The Story

This was the first drink on our menu. Before the swirls and the sunsets and the popping boba, there was taro milk tea with classic pearls.

We roast the taro before blending it. Roasting brings out a nuttier, deeper flavour than boiling does. The result is a thick, purple drink that tastes like roasted chestnuts mixed with vanilla. The milk keeps it smooth, and the classic pearls give it that chewy bite at the bottom.

People ask what the difference is between this and the Taro Swirl. This one is smoother and simpler. Same root, different treatment. The Classic is blended until uniform. No layers, no separation. Just one consistent flavour from first sip to last.
