Matcha Dream
Bitter, grassy, and thick. This isn't the sweet matcha you're used to.

Most matcha drinks are sweet with a green tint. Ours is actually bitter. You taste the tea first, grassy and vegetal, before the milk rounds it out. We whisk the matcha into a paste before adding milk so you don’t get clumps or that chalky feeling at the bottom of the cup.
The colour is a deep, swampy green. Not the bright lime you see in most shops. That bright green usually means sugar and food colouring are doing the heavy lifting. Ours looks the way matcha is supposed to look when it’s made properly.
If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, this might catch you off guard. We can add sweetener, but try it without first. The bitterness pairs with the chewy pearls in a way that sweetness doesn’t.
